about

I'd say I want all of my flannels back but I think it's safe to say they've been tainted. The only condition I would accept them back would be doused in lighter fluid so that they could keep me warm one last time. Love comes and goes but remember that it goes. Keep your clothing to yourself otherwise you accept the risk that you could be cold.

lyrics

Will you love him?

If someone comes and approaches you,
Gives you their heart what do you do?
Do you love him? Or do you let him go?
The boy in the foreground in the flannel shirt.
In the picture beneath your bed.
Did you love him? Or did you let him go?

Because there's a thousand ways to sing a single song.
You let him in and you let him out and now he's finally gone.
You packed you're bags and moved away and didn't look back.
And without my flannel it's so cold.

Summer in SLO is so fast. The past has past is past has past.
Did you miss it or did you not?
And now you see why it hurts because it's more than loosing some flannel shirts.
Would you do it again? Or just stay friends?

Because there's a thousand ways to sing a single song.
You let him in and you let him out and now he's finally gone.
You packed you're bags and moved away and didn't look back.
And without my flannel it's so cold.

I am broken. You have spoken. You're words are soused in distain.
What is mutual? Less of me and more of you. I am no fool.
You always knew.

If someone comes when you are cold
and warms you up will you be sold?
Will you love him?
And what if he sings to you? Would you melt inside like you used to do?
Would you love him?

Will you love him?
